Engineering a high-containment complex for oncology drugs, pediatric medicine, and parenteral nutrition.
AIPURE served as the general contractor for this 4,100 sqm purification project for Hubei Yibantian Pharmaceutical, a National “Little Giant” enterprise. The facility features two core modules: a Lyophilized Powder Injection workshop and a Soft-Bag Infusion workshop. Designed to produce high-end sterile preparations, this project integrates advanced intelligent control systems to meet the rigorous demands of oncology drug manufacturing.

Multi-Tiered Cleanliness Zones: Seamless integration of Grade A/B sterile cores within a larger Grade C/D facility framework.
Integrated Smart Controls: Successful deployment of unified Building Management (BMS) and Environmental Monitoring Systems (EMS).
High-Containment Oncology Protection: Specialized engineering for high-potency API (HPAPI) processing to ensure operator safety and cross-contamination prevention.
Strict GxP Traceability: Full-process data logging for dynamic monitoring of suspended particles and microbes in Grade B zones.
Engineering Challenges & Solutions
Coexistence of Divergent Cleanliness Levels: Managing two distinct production lines within 4,100 sqm required meticulous zoning. We utilized airlocks and buffer zones to facilitate a seamless transition between sterile Grade A/B filling zones and Grade C/D support areas, preventing any backflow of unfiltered air.
Absolute Sterility for Non-Terminal Preparations: Oncology lyophilized injections require 100% sterile processing. We optimized the HVAC airflow patterns in Grade B core zones to maintain precise temperature, humidity, and pressure gradients, ensuring absolute environmental stability.
Automation & Compliance Interlocking: To meet GMP requirements for automation, we integrated the BMS (controlling air handling units and fans) with the EMS (monitoring particulate and microbial counts). This data-interlocked system provides a closed-loop control environment with full historical traceability.
Stringent Operator Safety for Oncology Drugs: Dealing with high-potency oncology ingredients necessitated specialized protection. We designed isolated personnel paths and dedicated decontamination procedures to protect staff while maintaining product integrity across multiple batches.
